About

Hey there! I’m Hayley – a wife, physical therapy student, and home enthusiast obsessed with adding to my list of DIY projects.

I grew up in a small town in Utah with a mom who was putting me in sewing classes and teaching me to paint and stain before I knew it. She used to tell me about how she always sewed her own clothes for school growing up and I was thankful I didn’t find myself in the same situation.

She was also the reason I fell in love with cooking. I knew if she called something “most delicious” after I made it then she loved it. We usually teased her about that being her catch phrase because we heard it often.

It was a big move to do on our own across the country but nothing has seemed to strengthen our marriage more.

We bought a home without ever stepping foot in it in North Carolina because we didn’t have the time or money to fly out to see it. It was frantic communicating with the realtor, my husband, and our loan officer to get things figured out but we did it (read more here).

Renovating a home isn’t cheap, especially for a young married couple, but it certainly has become a task we love and wanted to share with everyone!
